~ Bill Andrews’ “Round-the-World” Odyssey ~
Bill
Andrews and I worked together for several years at Boeing. Bill would often kid me that he is the “real
Bill” – in that my name is actually William.
Bill retired early from Boeing to pursue his dream: to sail the world on
his personal yacht. For several years,
Bill hunted for his special ship and finally found it: a 45’ Westsail. Bill left Puget Sound waters October of
2002, heading down the West Coast to Mexico.
Bill will meander down the Mexican coast until the Trade Winds change in
the Spring and then head off across the South Pacific.
The
following are pictures and email that I’ve received from Bill. I will update this page with new emails and
pictures as Bill sends them to me.
